About the activity

We are looking for an experienced UX Optimization Specialist (Freelancer)who will support our e-commerce team in the further development of the User experience in the online store supported.

The focus is on analysisidentification and Implementation of UX improvements – with a clear focus on user behaviorconversion and practical solutions.

You will work closely with our internal teams from performanceData and Tech work together, actively contribute ideas and suggestions, and implement approved optimizations independently in the shop.

The activity begins with a Approximately 10 hours per week and is based on a long-term cooperation designed – with the option of adjusting the scope expand as needed.

Your responsibilities

  • Analysis of user behavior with existing tools (GA4, Shop Analytics, Hotjar, CRM data)
  • Identification of UX hurdles and optimization potential along the customer journey
  • Creation of recommendations for action and UX suggestions
  • Implementation of approved adjustments directly in the shop (e.g., in Shopify, via Shopware Experience Worlds, OXID templates, HTML/CSS)
  • Monitoring and evaluating the impact of changes after going live
  • Maintenance and documentation of findings in internal UX guidelines

Your profile

  • Experience in UX optimization, e-commerce, or conversion optimization
  • Practical experience with shop systems such as Shopware, OXID, and/or Shopify
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and CMS/template structures
  • Analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and a good understanding of user behavior
  • Experience with GA4 and ideally session analysis tools
  • Team orientation, reliability, and strong communication skills
